McKinney’s  FAVORITE Realtors

ABout the sisters

Monica Szewczyk and Julie Williams formed Texas Property Sisters, LLC in 2013.  Following successful sales careers in corporate America, the two decided to take their business experience and team up in Real Estate.

Monica worked in sales for a large hotel chain early in her career, then moved into sales and sales leadership roles for a global training and consulting company in Dallas.  During this time, she advanced her selling and negotiation skills working with business leaders in the areas of sales, service and leadership training.  Monica also managed a team of inside sales representatives further developing her leadership skills.  When her second daughter was born, she stepped away from the corporate world and became a successful entrepreneur with a national jewelry company where she was recognized for top sales for many years.

Julie worked for several high-tech firms in the global sales arena including Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and Microsoft.  Her clients were Fortune 100 companies such as Hertz, EDS, Wal-Mart, Exxon, JC Penny, 7-11 to name a few.  As a sales manager, Julie developed strong people skills and worked on large contract negotiations.  She was recognized as a top performer at each of those companies.

Both of the “sisters” have lived in McKinney in the Stonebridge Ranch area for more than 20 years.  Monica and her husband, Todd, have two daughters.  Julie and husband Jerry, have 3 daughters, 10 grand-children and 1 great-grandchild.

Local Recognition

Since forming TPS, the Sisters have enjoyed great success.  They have been named Top 25 Women in Business in McKinney, Living Magazine Reader’s Choice Best Realtors 2018, Best Real Estate Agents in 2019, Reader’s Choice Favorite Realtor in 2020, 2021, Top 500 Real Producers North DFW and are consistently in the top team sales for Keller Williams North Collin County.  The Texas Property Sisters have been featured numerous times in both McKinney Living and Community Impact.

Julie and Monica are both licensed Realtors® which means that they are members of the National Association of Realtors subscribing to a strict code oJuf ethics, professionalism, and knowledge of the local real estate market.  They are required to complete continuing education to stay up on the latest real estate laws, contracts, and policies.  There are several reasons to work with The Texas Property Sisters Realty Group including:

Experience – They can identify the right property for you based on your budget and needs and evaluate your property to ensure that it is priced accurately and gain interest from potential customers.

Buying or selling property usually requires reading and signing financial documents and legal forms. The paperwork may be different for each market and done per an area’s laws and regulations. An unintentional mistake or delay can be costly or lengthen the process of selling or buying or home. These REALTORS are experienced with dealing with those requirements and will guide you through buying and selling a house, making it effortless and smooth.

Saves Time – There are many things involved in the purchasing or selling of property, and it is time-consuming. It not only requires listing your property but identifying properties for sale, interviewing potential buyers, investigating, and inspecting properties. The Sisters complete these things on behalf of the buyer or seller. They research what will make a home sell quicker and identify what needs to be repaired or installed to increase your resale value.

Connections – REALTORS® know other REALTORS® or trusted individuals connected to the real estate market. These persons can either be interior decorators, real estate lawyers, contractors, appraisers, or mortgage brokers. Monica and Julie have an extensive network which ensures access to information that will be valuable for the selling and buying of property.

Expert Negotiators – The demand for houses has increased, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, with many people are working remotely. The increase in demand has created a housing shortage and competition in the real estate market. Texas Property Sisters will effectively negotiate with potential buyers and sellers to get the best possible price. They will argue in your best interests and ensure that a deal is complete.

Ethics – As REALTORS®, Julie and Monica are held to and must adhere to a higher standard of moral and ethical practices than real estate agents. They are required to follow a Code of Ethics related to the selling and buying of property and how to interact with the parties involved. This helps you as a buyer because you can now be sure that they will have your best interest at heart and will follow the necessary laws provided by the state in which you are house shopping.

Monica and Julie will personally handle every aspect of your real estate transaction.  They never turn anything over to assistants or administrative clerks.  Using their knowledge of the local market and experience, they will guide you every step of the way.
